Research Analyst (New York, NY):

Candidate will be responsible for sourcing, due diligence and monitoring of alternative funds across specific strategies. The candidate will focus on multi-strategy, systematic and macro managers but should have a strong understanding of a wider range of strategies and investment approaches. Candidate will meet and interview fund managers and investment teams and create detailed quarterly reports. Candidate will also support the quantitative research and portfolio analytics team. Candidate will work across multiple areas involving data including: data collection, modeling, analytics, and performance monitoring etc. Candidate will aggregate and manipulate large data sets, and using advanced data analysis tools, create thoughtful and insightful analyses. Candidate will work closely with external clients to generate range of portfolio and fund level reporting including peer group analysis, fund/portfolio return and risk statistical analysis, stress testing, portfolio optimization, exposure analysis, style analysis, etc. Candidate will help create high quality, visually appealing reports, graphics and templates within Excel using advanced VBA. Candidate should have a strong understanding of financial statistical models and techniques.


  • Master’s Degree in Economics, or Finance, or Mathematics.
